This monograph is dedicated to the 125th Аnniversary of the establishment of the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute. For more than 100 years of its existence, this university has formed dozens of world-renowned scientific schools and developed hundreds of scientific areas. Among them, a prominent place is occupied by research on the creation of precision systems and technologies. The monograph reflects some of the results obtained at the Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute in this field. The chapters of the monograph are grouped into three areas: optoelectronic technologies, medical technologies, and technological support.
The first chapter is devoted to some topical issues of optoelectronic instrumentation development. A model of signal transformations in thermal imaging observations is considered, on the basis of which methods for calculating the spatial and energy resolution of thermal imagers are proposed. The methodological bases of improvement of multichannel optoelectronic systems of remote observations with image fusion are proposed. They include methods of constructive coordination of the characteristics of the system units, a mechanism for adaptive selection of the best way to combine spectral images, and means of experimental determination of the main characteristics of the system. It is shown that the developed specialized software with modern global optimization algorithms can automate the optical design process. In particular, this approach has been successfully tested in the design of various optical systems with constant and variable parameters.More details
